DAY TRIPS : NATIONAL TRUST LYME
A day trip out at National Trust Lyme Park. A house with 600 years of history, complete with a deer park, formal gardens and reflecting lake.
CRUISE SHIP: CELEBRITY BEYOND
A solo cruise, on the cruise ship Celebrity Beyond.
This is only day one, getting on board and finding my way to the Sunset Bar for sailaway.

Santorini. An island in the Aegean Sea, on many people’s cruise port of call list.
From the capital Fira I visited the famous blue domed churches of Oia and the ancient town of Akrotiri.
DESTINATION: ROME
An overnight stay in Rome, before a cruise, was a chance to explore iconic landmarks from the Colosseum to the Pantheon.
